Home Depot Kids Workshop

Daddy has been waiting eagerly to be able to take Andrew to Home Depot's Kids Workshop series.  They've made many trips to the store together, but last weekend was a special one.
Together they made a car!

Daddy's Birthday at the Mission Inn

On Dave's actual birthday, Desiree joined us at the Mission Inn for Christmas lights and dinner at El Torito.  Andrew was in awe of the lights and stared wide-eyed, often adding in quiet "woahs" and "ites" (lights) combined with finger-pointes!

The elfs were cute and Andrew enjoyed the fact that they moved.

Desiree took a family picture of us on Santa's sleigh--Mommy's eyes were closed first, then it was Andrew's turn--if I wasn't so lazy, I'd put them into Photoshop and merge them (hmm, maybe I should make my Media students do it for me?!).

The choo-choo train was probably Andrew's favorite piece.
Also, I know it doesn't look like Andrew has that much warmness on, but he actually has three long sleeve shirts and two pairs of pants.  I left off his snow coat because he was sweating ;)

Yes, folks, that is a BUCKET of donuts!  Yummy goodness!
We ended the night at El Torito with a very cool waiter and bull hats!

Baking Cookies!

 December 15
The three of us make chocolate chip cookies on Sunday after church.
Andrew stood on the chair and helped put the cookie balls onto the cookie sheet.

He was so proud of his work!

See Mommy?!

Santa's Wonderland at Bass Pro Shop

On December 14th, we met Grandpa and Grandma Bennett at Bass Pro Shop in Rancho Cucuamongo to visit Santa and celebrate Dave's 31st birthday.  Andrew wasn't so sure about Santa until Santa gave him a candy cane--then he was a nice guy and Andrew relaxed completely.

Andrew scribbled his letter to Santa with Grandma's help.

The giant train was a hit!  If only we had $215 to buy it around our tree...

Next up--the carasol!  He loved it so much we rode it twice!

After Bass Pro, we went to Fuddruckers for dinner to celebrate Dave's birthday!

Because they are so cute--here are more pictures of our Oak Glen apple picking trip!
