Sammy's 2nd Birthday

Sammy turned 2 back in August. He was pretty darn cute, but made this funny/mad face when we sang to him... pretty darn funny. The kids played outside in the water while the adults watched and talked.

Audrey helped Sammy open his presents. Between the choochoo trains and trucks, Sammy was good to go!

The pinta caused some issues... this is until Rob got ahold of the bat and killed it.

Ivy Mae joined the world as a beautiful little girl. Mommy was wonderful and succeeded in a drug free, natural childbirth! Daddy helped Mommy during labor and delievery and he thinks I am the pretties thing that ever existed.

Dland

Spent the morning at Disneyland with Rachel, Brenden, Tawni and Sammy. Even with the screaming, it was a enjoyable morning. Thanks girls!

Pumpkin Patch

Saturday, I tagged along with Desiree as her mom and sister took Aubrey (Des' niece) to the pumpkin patch as the cutest pumpkin you've ever seen! She loved her hat and shoes and picking up pumpkins.

Sammy loves riding the carousel at Disneyland and California Adventure. This picture is a few weeks old, but I just found it. He talked to the seal he rode up and down :)

It's been awhile...

Sorry about that!

The end of July was just as busy as the beginning of July!
After coming back from San Francisco, I have had non-stop activities.

Gone to lunch , dinners, and movies with several great friends,

spent time "playing" with other great friends,
three days beach camping in South Carlsbad with my parents and the Buxtons,
helped Tawni sort-of surpise Rob for his 28th birthday party at John's Incredible Pizza and played with my big boys,
survived four days of Yearbook camp with seven kiddos from Central and teaching two classes,
and last, but certainly not least, pushed, prodded, and nagged Dave into finishing the bathroom (pictures of that coming soon--it is so huge, it needs it's own post!!)! And loved my doggie over and over again.

Happy Birthday Brendan!

It is really hard to believe that it is already one year later and Brendan is such a big boy! Walking, talking, and eating by himself! I'm as proud as any momma out there even though I'm just Aunt Jenni! Thank you Rachel and Scott for allowing me to be a part of your child's life!

Happy St. Patrick's Day (late)

Last night, Rachel made her traditional Irish dinner for us girls. She makes it every year and I'm going to let her keep making it for me as long as she offers! St. Patrick's Day is a big deal to Rachel and I love every minute of the food; she made corn beef, cabbage, potatoes and carrots, asparagus, jello pears, and thin mint-green chocolate brownies. Yummy! The most entertaining part of the night for me what that Brendan, Sammy, and Mercy were all there in their green. For most of dinner Brendan yelled at us (he broken his second tooth last night), Sammy talked, and Mercy wanted in and out of her chair about ten times. All of the girls talked on and over the babies, Rachel, Tawni, and Casey feeding the children and eating at the same time.

Anyway--we took a ton of pictures of the three kiddos together, but here is one of Sam and I.

This is a picture from June of 2008 when Anna Sun came to school for a visit. Shay and Theresa (proud parents) has been home from China for a week or so. At this moment, Anna was screeching and laughing at me during yearbook class. She pretends to be shy a lot of the time, but she loves "Aunt Jennifer" as Theresa calls me.
