We have paint! This is the actual color--Laurel Leaf--with trim at the ceiling and baseboards in Swiss Coffee white. Dave did 99.9% of the work and I used the nail gun twice to put up one board.
Melissa sanded the pink closet and Dave primed, painted, and put a coat of polyurethane on the closet. I spent an hour of so putting all of his stuff back into the closet in an organized way!
Then we switched the beds...

It's looking great! Now if you could just get Dave to stop snoring...
