Maternity Leave still...

This week Melissa has been occupying my time.

We've done a LOT of walking (four hours on Monday and four hours yesterday) and shopping. Spending money actually works pretty well to distract me from the downright uncomfortableness that I feel and the anxiousness that he isn't here yet.

Melissa also made me some lemon drop cupcakes and we repacked the hospital bag into a small rolling suitcase.

Yesterday, we started at Red Brick Pizza. I barely fit into the booths--I guess this is what it looks like to be over 40 weeks pregnant. This giant walking heart (Heartzie) was at the Plaza to kick of "Get Walking Month" sponsored by the American Red Cross. I think the placement of his mouth and my belly is pretty funny...

Tried the breast pump out hoping for some natural induction to take place. Yes, this is a "normal" home/natural induction and no, it did not make contractions start as it "should have."

  1. oh Jennifer, you poor thing.
    You must be so anxious!
I'll be praying for you as you deal with this discomfort. It's great that you have a lovely sister to keep you company though!
