  1. Kaiser gives you the paperwork you're bringing. They gave me a nicely organized folder with the poop/pee/feeding chart, birth cert info, insurance info, and a few other things. They are surprisingly organized.
Also, I don't see anything on the list for Dave? Is he staying the night with you?
If you're going to dress Drew in sleepers you likely won't need socks. I would say bring receiving blankets but that might be what the knit blankets are.
Also, make sure you empty out the room when you leave. Take all the diapers you can! :)

  2. Seriously, you're bringing makeup? I would think that'd be pretty low on my priority list.

  3. I didn't shower either time at the hospital so I didn't even bother bringing shampoo and stuff (tooth brush, toothpaste and even mouth wash I used), I had those Dove waterless face wipes with Caleb and they were great! I was so sore, the less I had to get out of bed, the better. Make-up was a definate! Brought and used! Both times!

  4. Bring old nasty socks with you and a pair of slippers...I know they mop but the thought of walking on the hospital floor in good socks or without socks grossed me out. Any my hospital sent home the mesh underwear which were great for the first few days home. Before you go home request extra pads, mesh underwear, and the numbing spray. My cousin told me to request extra because it is really hard to find and trust me you don't want to run out!

  5. question, what is the tennis ball in the sock for?

I like that you have so many friends that just went through all this, I don't have too many, so I get to hop on your back and use all their suggestions too!
