When I left the house yesterday, the red room looked like this. Dave's fantastic electrical work was evident and so were all the studs.
When I returned last night after work, a Read 180 meeting, and dinner with Susannah, the Red Room looked like this...
The reason you see "unfinished" wall is because the unfinished wall will be eliminated completely, but we didn't want to eliminate it completely now because there are cabinets and a dishwasher on the other side of it in the kitchen.
The pure luxury of being able to hire a contractor to do this type of work is speed! Although Dave can do the work as stellar as the professionals, he can't beat their efficiency. By Friday of this week, the final sanding will be finished and the outside will be stuccoed. Rest assured, more progress pictures will be coming :)
